We are a sustainable interior design studio based in Hudson, NY. We create tiny homes, custom furniture and commercial interiors from 99% rescued materials.
Our mission is to keep reusable materials out of landfill.
3-5 years of experience with furniture fabrication or general carpentry
Excited by the challenge of working with repurposed materials
Experience with joinery and jigs
Experience reading and building from assembly prints
Experience in all sanding and finishing techniques
Ability to navigate well with all basic carpentry tools
Experience in production workflow
Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week if required
Possess an ability to problem solve different aspects of engineering the project at hand.
A motivated and design-oriented team player
Familiarity with other materials such as resin, metal and stone a plus
Strong organizational skills

The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in multiple areas of carpentry with the ability to work on designs from conception to completion. We are looking to add a talented individual to our team with dynamic skills and a passion for all aspects of the production, from the structural to the creative elements. You possess advanced carpentry skills along with proficiency in all areas of fabrication including painting, crafting, sanding and finishing.
Ability to do light metalworking is a plus but not required. You will also be responsible for assisting with local pick-ups from our partners in the neighborhood. Having a drivers license is not required but a ++. You must have a good attitude about doing all aspects of the job, work well or be open to non-traditional ways of problem solving in a non conventional atmosphere with the understanding that everything you do is a chance to learn. We are a tight knit team who work in unique and creative ways.
