I've windsurfed across the Hudson on New Year's Day amidst ice cubs, felt fine in the dry suit. You'd be fine in any cold/cool weather temperature that you'd sanely sail in, unless you're a masochist. You put on the bottom like a union suit, then the top goes over that and then there's a flap across the chest that seals the top and bottom.
The wet suit should be fine for now.
You'd have to try them and see if they fit. I live north of Ryder Park on Ulster Landing Road off Rt 32 near Roberti's Marine
