Searching For A "Small Room" Or Perhaps "A Couch" For Rent (Sloatsburg)

I am a New-comer who just moved to Sloatsburg two weeks ago. I'm fully aware that securing stable housing any where in the Town Of Ramapo won't happen overnight, so I have been diligently "taking baby steps" towards settling down in Sloatsburg. Being flexible and open-minded to different Housing Options could very well "speed up" my progress of finding a place to stay, so I decided to search for housing by posting this ad on Craigslist. Everywhere in New York there's issues with Housing and Homelessness is really nothing new, so my goal is to "Be Patient" and to start at the very bottom until I gradually work my way up.
Therefore, I'm seeking out Sloatsburg Residents who are willing to charge me only $200 per month to have "a place to sleep at night" on their couch. Since this is only a couch, I don't mind if the Owner ask for me to pay on a month-to-month basis. Or if the Owner really enjoys having me as a temporary guest living in their home, then I am willing to rent the couch for a longer period of time using a 6-month lease or 1-year lease. I will only use the couch at night to sleep on, and will not be seen sitting in the living room on the couch all day long....I am very busy and will be out throughout the day doing things.
Paying rent for a Couch is a "temporary living arrangement" that I'm willing to accept until I can find a Sloatsburg Resident who is willing to let me "rent a small room" in their home for $600 per month on a 6-month or 1-year lease. And of course, I'm willing to pay 1st month rent ($600) + last month rent ($600) + security deposit (perhaps $300) = $1,500 upon move-in. A Brief Description of Myself:
1) I have stable income and I barely have any debt....so paying my rent "on time" will NEVER be an issue. Whether I'm paying $200 for a couch or $600 for a small room; either way, my Landlord will NEVER have to "chase me down" for payment.
2) I have a good rental history with my previous Landlords and have a good reputation for being "financially responsible".
3) I'm looking for a place to stay "only" for myself (no children). Since I am a female, it would be "safe" if I stayed with another female, or with a married couple, or with an entire family.
4) I am a Christian woman who spend most of her time studying the Bible and living according to its standards. I can easily be "trusted" by anyone (even by people who don't necessarily like Christianity or Religion).
5) Previous Roommates/Housemates enjoyed living with me because I am very quiet and keep to myself. I'm not into gossiping and meddling in other people's business. I am soft-hearted with a good temper, and I know how to deal with conflict inside the house without making "a big scene".
6) Previous Landlords enjoyed having me as their Tenant because they appreciated never having to worry about whether I smoke, drink, do drugs, go partying/clubbing, having sleep-overs, playing loud music, causing arguments/fights, being unclean (dirtying up the kitchen and bathroom), not paying rent on time, and so forth.
