Gretsch Silver Jet 6129 Billy Zoom - $2,000

I have a 1989 MIJ Gretsch Silver Jet, from the Terada factory in Japan. Made in the first year of the Gretsch reboot after they had gone out of business. My guitar tech has told me that year is of a much higher quality compared to recent, post-Fender Gretsch guitars.
I made two modifications: Melitta bridge and mother of pearl tuners, inspired by the Billy Zoom silver jet. Equals a $450 upgrade. The former owner told me the Dynasonic/DeArmond pick-ups were repurposed out of a 1950's era Gretsch Clipper. Based on the patina and rust on the pickups, and their warm vintage sound, it seems accurate (see close up pics). Hardshell original case included.
