Large areas of crotch figure / pyramid grain.
Oversized 4/4 lumber - 1 1/8" thickness.
Edged on one sided prior to air drying and the other side has a life edge.
Current moisture content as of June 1st was 13% to 18%.
I only calculated 5 pieces for the sale price and the 6th piece is free.

Theses boards originate from one log and are numbered in sequence for book-matching and matching grain and colors.
After milling, this lumber has been sticker stacked and air dried under cover.
It may still require drying to the desired moisture content, especially for indoor furniture projects.
All ends have been sealed with Anchorseal prior to milling, to stabilize the drying process.
Black Walnut lumber is naturally decay resistant and also great for outdoor projects.

A little bit about the background of this lumber -
I am a woodworking professional with over 30 years of experience in handmade furniture, custom cabinetry and millwork.
From time to time I have too much lumber for my own needs and offer it here for sale to fellow woodworkers. I specialize in figured Black Walnut, Cherry and figured Maple with visually striking grain patterns. I use environmentally sustainable practices by finding recycled logs, utilizing all off-cuts for firewood and composting the sawdust.
Most lumber is cut into oversized 4/4, 6/4 and 8/4 dimensions.
