Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a growing, family-owned company looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent / Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of purchasing/inventory mgmt experience — not just warehouse experience. Experience in the HVAC and/or plumbing industry is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform the Purchasing process in our Project Management System from request thru fulfillment, including:
• Acknowledge and process incoming purchase requests
• Add accurate pricing and applicable tax to purchase orders
• Determine whether equipment/material should be pulled from stock or ordered from vendors
• Modify and assign PO numbers for vendor orders by department
• Send purchase orders to vendors
• Coordinate stock pulls and equipment ordering as needed
• Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
• Close purchase orders as invoices are approved
• Create and process vendor returns
• Perform continuous follow-up on all purchases, ensuring every step of the process is complete, resulting in timely project
materials fulfillment, and accurate inventory counts and values
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of purchasing/procurement/inventory experience required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with vendors and internal departments
• HVAC, plumbing, or construction industry experience preferred but not required
• Experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is huge plus
