We are currently seeking an experienced Roofing Inspector & Estimator with a strong background in insurance-related roofing claims. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience identifying storm damage, preparing accurate estimates, and working directly with homeowners and insurance carriers throughout the claims process.
Responsibilities:
* Perform residential and/or commercial roof inspections
* Identify wind, hail, and storm-related damage
* Prepare detailed roofing estimates using Xactimate or similar software
* Document findings with photos and written reports
* Meet with insurance adjusters during inspections
* Assist homeowners through the insurance claims process
* Recommend repair or replacement solutions
* Maintain professional communication with clients and carriers
Requirements:
* Proven experience in roofing inspections and estimating
* Strong understanding of insurance claims and storm damage assessment
* Experience with Xactimate preferred
* Ability to safely inspect roofs and climb ladders
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Roofing sales experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
* HAAG certification or similar industry certifications
* Experience handling denied or underpaid claims
* Knowledge of local building codes and roofing systems
