vintage Egyptian carved Blue Beetle Scarab bead - $10 (Kingston)

Purchased in Egypt back in the late 80s. Can be used as either a bead on a necklace or for decorative purposes on a dresser top, shelf, etc. Measures 3/4" by 1/2" (roughly), and is made of a glazed ceramic of some sort.
