We are a boutique compounding pharmacy located in Hyde Park, NY. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a pharmacy support role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a specialized pharmacy setting with a manageable workload and a supportive environment. Office enjoys a low key environment. This role requires accuracy, dependability, and reliability. Most important qualification is a a good attitude. Looking for a maturem stable person who is not a chronic job changer and who is comfortable working steadily in a low-key quiet environment and who is willing to work with and be managed be senior staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing, filling, and labeling prescriptions accurately.
Help prepare compounded medications (training provided)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Qualifications:
No prior pharmacy or compounding experience required (training provided)
Compounding experience is a plus
Healthcare experience a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Mature, reliable, and able to follow instructions
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Good work ethic and professional demeanor
Position Details:
Part-time: 3 days per week
Compensation: $17–$18 per hour
Work Environment: Manageable workload with a pace lighter than a typical retail pharmacy
Hours: Approx. 25 hrs per week.
