3 Very nice SHAW WALKER Model 8312 attributed armchairs. The chair has a clear coat aluminum frame with wood arm rests - seat - front legs and back rest. The design is from the 1930s and was manufactured to reduce combustible furniture in the "NEW" high rise office buildings. This chair is in the same style and design time frame as the GOODFORM / GENERAL FIREPROOFING "NAVY" chair that is still being produced by EMECO. Very good condition with some scuffs to the clearcoat. The manufacture of these chairs date is October 2, 1958, as stamped on bottom
There are three chairs.
Structurally excellent. There are some worn areas to the clear coat finish on the aluminum
