PHILIPS Stereo Receiver 70 wpc, (when Philips owned Marantz 1989). - $50 (Wallkill- Newburgh)

123
I am selling an old school Philips stereo receiver. The last of Philips good stereo equipment.....

before they started to cheapen their build quality. They were designed in Holland, and made in Japan.

To me, this sounds as good as a Luxman, or Nakamichi receiver. Conservatively rated at 70 x 2.

Philips was the owner of Marantz, during this era.......and designed, and made some great CD players,

receivers, and integrated amps, under their own name, AND the Marantz name....but did not always do a great job of marketing

their Philips line. and were often under appreciated. Philips co-invented the CD player, and the cassette deck.
