1. “Pencil box” – old wooden box with hinged top and latch. Looks large enough to hold a set of pencils. Some pencils marks inside as well, otherwise empty, waiting for your pencils, crayons, or pens or ?
2. Charles Higgens “soap box”, once held 6 bars of soap. Original label inside on very good condition. Box has working lid and hinges and latch.
4. Antique “cigar box” with “Jim The Penman” on the top surface and “Our Leader” on the frontspiece. Once had some type of liner inside, no longer present. Inside the lid is a nice multicolor decorative floral embossment with “Jim the Penman” written across. Box has nice working lid and hinges.
There was a silent movie of this name made in 1921, not sure if this is related to that. Bottom says “Factory 65, 3rd District, New York 50”
