To pay tribute to all those brave immigrants who entered their way to liberty through Ellis Island and other ports of entry, The Statue Of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. (SLEIF) has sanctioned the creation of a series of beautiful, fine porcelain dolls of the world. Each doll is crafted in detail to authenticate the country it represents and to meet the approval of SLEIF, the entity authorized by the federal government to raise funds to restore the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island National Monuments. In addition to achieving the sanction from SLEIF, the dolls feature fine characteristics of which any patriot and doll lover will be proud!
