Originally a wood and canvas sailing canoe of unknown manufacture but similar to Old Town canoes, it was purchased used by the original owners father in the 1920's and rebuilt at that time. In the 1970's, the canvas skin was removed and it was fiberglassed, therefore going threw two major renovations in its lifetime. A beautiful old canoe, approximately 17' long with a hogged keel line profile. Welcome to viewing. Requires further work including but not limited to:
-possible rib and planking replacement to preference
-canvasing or fiberglass
-yoke/thwarts
-seats
Canoe details:
-Length = ~17'
-Max width = ~ 37 1/2"
-Outside fiberglass removed
-Decking replaced with white ash
-Inwale and outwale replaced with white ash
-7 ribs replaced with white cedar
-Compromised sections of planking replaced with white cedar
