The barbed wire on this display is real. Most are marked with the date of patent in pen in the late 1800’s with a black enamel edge border.
Note: In the 1800's there were over 530 samples of barbed wire patented in the United States.
The wood display measures 24" high x 15 ¾" wide and ¾” thick (w/o barbs) in the shape of Idaho in truly great shape for its age (see Pics).
