IT IS AVAILABLE AND WILL ONLY COMMUNICATE THROUGH CL EMAIL. Hand-carved antique painted wood stool. Believe the motif is a snakehead fish, as it has a tail fin and a snake's head with incised diamond eyes. The snakehead fish is native to both Africa and Asia and has symbolic meaning to both countries. Good condition with age wear.
If I had to make an educated guess, I think it is African in origin and possibly a ceremonial stool.
