This Transportation Lithograph from the American Banknote Company features 11 blue-ink detailed vignettes focusing on the history and evolution of transportation, used for security printing on banknotes, stock certificates, and stamps. ABN was once the most prominent security printing firm in the world. The images are intaglio engraved, a method where the image is incised into a metal plate, resulting in high-detail prints with a tactile, slightly raised feel to the ink.

The litho is framed and matted under glass by Assenheim & Sons, NYC and in very good condition. 17"h x 21" wide
