The Hudson Valley SPCA located off of Rt.207 is looking for anyone (18 and older) to walk, socialize, play with and interact with dogs at our shelter. Some exceptions of age 16 and 17 may be considered. No experience is needed and you will be working hand and hand with either myself or our training staff to get acuainted with the animals. You must have a passion for dogs (and cats) and be serious about your volunteer work. At this time volunteers are not paid for their work but charters in the future may enable us to pay workers, and offer long term positions. Hours are flexible, and youll be able to grow as we grow. We are also in the process of expanding and rebuilding certain areas of our facility for the better of our staff and animals. Much help is needed in the realm of skilled or unskilled labor and anyone with experience in construction, fencing, painting, and any other hands on work. We will be looking for and contractors also who will be willing to donate their time in exchange for 501-3c charitable donation voucher.
