You know it's getting kind of old to buy into any sound or video bite of anyone and make a broad assumption about where they truly stand on any issue, and more so what's in their heart. I thought Bush was an inarticulate man with a limited perspective on many things. And I disliked his positions on most issues. I did not however question if his heart was corrupt, nor did I presume that the mangled language or moment in time represented his feelings about an event, inclusive of 9-11 and the famed day.
Does anyone really think Obama doesn't care or feel for these fallen soldiers? Really? Is this the same group that still thinks he wasn't born here or is still a "Muslim plant" to create domestic terror?

I guess Cheney's frozen sardonic smile and Bush's awkwardness means they don't care about dying soldiers?

Why not stay on issue? We can go on all day about Kennedy, Bush's Nixon, Agnew, Clinton etc. Let's not think anyone even libertarians and the christian right are beyond the pale of a "moment".

You really think Obama used that phrase to be careless? And why is that language slang any less acceptable then some Texan or Southern speak used by Bush or other conservatives or the sports analogies offered up by Reagan?

The answer is because the opposition to Obama spends more time seeking the opportunity to jump on him more then it does promote alternative solutions to the great problems we face.
