I would love to start a pet sitting exchange group where we pet sit for each other without pay, in Ulster County. If anyone is interested in participating, please contact me. Or if you know of one already in existence I would love to join. I have been looking into pet sitting for my dog and was amazed at the prices charged for this service. I am sure there are others in the same predicament. I am looking for someone to actually sit with my dog either at my house or yours while I am away for periods of 2 to 4 hours, as she has separation anxiety. This would be on an as needed basis and of course, I would do the same. If we had a few people participating (perhaps 9 or 10 people) I think it would work out well for all concerned.

Qualified pet sitters must:

* Be 21 or over
* Possess a clean driver's license as well as reliable transportation
* Be willing to submit to a background check
* Experienced with small and/or large animal care
* Must be able to walk and handle various sized dogs, including larger ones
* Must be able to administer medications and supplements to animals if requested. Experience with giving insulin injections to animals is a plus.
* Prior pet sitting or other pet care experience is preferred.

Most dog walking assignments will occur during daytime hours (11:00a-3:00p on the average). Most pet sitting assignments will have coverage needs in the morning hours (6:00-10:00am), daytime hours and evening hours(5:00-9:00pm)

Some people breed to make money, its not a bad thing. Dont feel bad for all the negative remarks you are going to get. I couldnt get a dog from the shelter because I was told I have small kids. Both are males. They come with their cage && everything else seen in the pictures. The Latch on the top of the cage doesnt latch right, it was that way when we got it, but they cannot get out of their cage. They have NEVER bitten anyone.

She will come with her cage(although shes probably going to need a new one soon since she knocked the door off somehow & its now taped on there so she cant get out) and her ball to run around in.

My sister calls her Spider-Ham because she climbs to the top of her cage & hangs from her back feet. She is afraid of people at first but once she gets used to your hand being there then shes fine.
